Celadon at the Edge of Surface
The work organizes celadon, ink, and cobalt as distinct but interdependent presences. A balanced tonal range and measured contrast shape its rhythmic pace. This measured surface is reinforced by the placement of visual weight. Visual weight is dispersed across the surface, asking the eye to move without a fixed resting point. In this arrangement, presence and erasure remain deliberately unresolved. Meaning gathers slowly in the intervals where color gives way to quiet.
